Executive Bio

As Skin Laundry’s Chief Operating Officer, Chris Carey worked alongside Founder Yen Reis as the main driver and architect of the company’s vision to bring the signature 15-Minute Laser & Light Facial to consumers. Carey has been responsible for creating and implementing the operating infrastructure for the brand, priming Skin Laundry for worldwide expansion.

Prior to joining Skin Laundry, Carey was the VP of Retail Operations Role with SoCal Lifestyle Startup, RVCA Clothing. He established both their e-commerce and retail verticals and simultaneously launched RVCA’s first flagship location on the iconic corner of Haight/Ashbury in San Francisco, and many more locations up until Billabong International of Australia purchased RVCA. Alongside RVCA Founder, PM Tenore, Chris co-founded several successful ventures including Purple Life Laboratories (aka “Purps” Organic Beverage Line), Aloha Bagels of Haleiwa, HI, and Art of Jiu Jitsu by the Mendes Brothers.

Carey began his career at Abercrombie and Fitch as Regional Manager where he oversaw 12 District Managers, 50+ stores, and over $250M in business. He worked directly with Senior Management, including CEO Mike Jeffries. He is a graduate of Concordia University with a BA in Business Marketing. He resides in Laguna Niguel, CA with his wife Megan and daughters Dakota and Andi.
