Overall, everything is growing fast. Need to take some risks though in order to get to the upper right quadrant.
What do people at Skytap think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
Doing pretty good. With all of the growth it would be nice to see groups being broken up by areas of focus rather than the specific stack.
Does Skytap have any remote positions?
I think there might be some in other areas, but engineers need to be local. That said, they are very flexible with working from home.
How does Skytap make decisions around promotions?
Promotions seem to be more about how much you buddy up with people and less about how much you get done. Perception of being useful is more relevant that actually being useful.
How's the vacation policy at Skytap?
HR is willing to accommodate the needs of employees with religious needs. I would have to say that they their policy is pretty good!
