In 1995, he joined AstraZeneca PLC where he worked for 20 years, holding multiple senior roles including, most recently, Vice President of Finance, International from 2013 to 2015 with responsibility for all emerging markets and Vice President, Global Financial Services from 2010 to 2013. He served for 20 years at AstraZeneca. Prior to AstraZeneca, he served at Arthur Andersen. He served as a Director of Knightsbridge Shipping Limited. He has a strong track record of delivering operational excellence and has relevant experience across major finance roles and geographic markets, leading large teams responsible for significant budgets. Mr. Baker served as a Director of AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd., from July 26, 2007 to December 31, 2008. He is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor from Chartered Institute of Tax. Mr. Baker has MA (honours) in Economics from Cambridge University, UK and is a Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
