Smithfield Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Cost of benefits is low

It was overall pretty good.

Salary and bonus are more than fair.

The 401k and health benefits

Healthcare is pretty cheap here

Review from Product Dept

Health insurance would be the best

Medical insurance or 401k match

The 401k and the insurance

They have good health and medical

Jksvj ko isooe ope boje no e do

Contribution matches that is equal to your own contributions

Review from Product Dept

401K, insurance, PTO, school reimbursement

Health benifits are very good

I think prices are good

My health care is the best benefit and the union

All come together to get high

Always changing to bring extra items as great benefits

Not sure what my compensation package is so that would be something they could work on with HR

The benefits that we receive

Vacation days, 401k, and bonuses

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Positions are not rated correctly compared to industry when it comes to compensation within the biopharma secror

More time off as a salary employee

Maybe be trained and not written up as a fall person 1.5 hours into training

Fast food workers make as much or more then I do. They are responsible for dropping fries. I am responsible for pig selection, placement, treatments, loadout, projections on market hogs, laundry, ordering supplies, and coordination with outside contractors.

Higher pay & salaries, regular & better bonuses. Better yearly raises "3 to 8 cents doesn't make employees feel appreciated or valued." Why try to be anything other than to be a absolute average employee when there's no benefit/reward for the extra effort put into making the company better overall.

More time paid time off

My job is very physically demanding compared to other jobs and im making $1/hr more than starting pay

We are not put first are safety if not I give you an example they run the meat so fast and it's hard to keep up and that forces workers on the line to get closer to each other social disinfecting is very hard especially with so many people we barely get to 30 minute breaks and have to rush back ther

Review from Product Dept

I feel like I work hard and don't get noticed for it!
