Mr. Frank J. Dyke, also known as Jeff, has been Executive Vice President of Operations at Sonic Automotive Inc., since October 2008. Mr. Dyke is responsible for direct oversight for all retail automotive operations of Sonic. Mr. Dyke has been Divisional Chief Operating Officer of Sonic Automotive, Inc. since March 2007 until October 2008 where he was responsible for retail automotive operations for the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and South Carolina. From March 2007 to October 2008, Mr. Dyke served as Sonic's Division Chief Operating Officer of South East Division, where he was responsible for retail automotive operations for the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and South Carolina. Mr. Dyke first joined Sonic in October 2005 and served as its Vice President of Retail Strategy until April 2006. He served as Division Vice President of Eastern Division at Sonic Automotive Inc. from April 2006 to March 2007. Prior to Sonic, Mr. Dyke served in the automotive retail industry at AutoNation from 1996 to 2005, where he served several positions in divisional, regional and dealership management.
