Executive Bio
Catherine Abshire joined Sound in 2011 as a program-based clinical performance nurse, bringing clinical and leadership experience in critical care and emergency medicine to the organization. With a passion for clinical excellence and a deep commitment to the patient and provider experience, Catherine was named Sound’s inaugural Chief Nursing Officer in 2018. In this role, she leads our team of clinical performance nurses nationwide who are responsible for supporting improved clinical outcomes for patients and delivering exceptional performance to our hospital partners.
