Dr. Stephen Matchett leads Sound’s critical care specialty, the largest critical care practice in the United States. Originally trained at Yale University School of Medicine with a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Matchett has more than 25 years of experience leading high-performance ICU programs across the country. Dr. Matchett’s commitment to partnership shows in Sound Critical Care’s near-perfect retention rate, and under his vision, Sound developed a Tele-ICU service that allows hospitals to staff their ICUS 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with board certified intensivists.
