What do you like best about the leadership team?
Their willingness to communicate both the good news and the bad.
All leadership is organized, well thought out, and personable. Every individual I interact with has been pleasant. Leadership is being improved monthly.
They are open to talking to anyone and will make take for you. They work hard on their transparency as well.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
I am paid well for a part time position with no benefits.I am happy, but of course I would love to go to full time with the amazing benefits Sparkfun offers.
There are a lot of perks to working at SparkFun. While the pay may be a bit lower, the perks more than make up for it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

What are some of the best things about your team?
Each individual brings and shares their wealth of knowledge and experience, not just in their position at the company, but their outside experiences as well. It makes for a broader vision.
My team is helpful and communicative. I get along with them and feel that we work well together and people have been placed in positions that they are well suited for.
We have fun! Sure, we work hard but there is always time for some fun, joking, shooting each other with nerf guns, etc.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our inclusivity, our on-site dog policy, and our scheduling flexibility due to the trust in each employee to get their job done.
We are family! always laughing, chatting, connecting, and helping each other in every way we can. There are more than 100 people here but it feels like a family.
The company really tries to care about their employees first. Of course, profits matter but people matter a lot too.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?

What did you like most about the interview process?
They asked silly questions and kept the mood light. They cared about work ethic and personality as well as experience and prepared answers.
It is fairly informal and less intimidating.

What makes you most happy at work?
The people! And I am proud of the amazing things that Spark fun does for our community! Every single person is respectful and hard working.
Dogs. People get to bring their dogs to work and most of them love people giving them attention.
