Q&A With Sprouts Farmers Market Employees

At Sprouts we sell food, but we are also making a difference in people’s lives. We’re looking for team members who will go above and beyond for our guests because it is the right thing to do, not because someone is looking.

How employees describe working at Sprouts Farmers Market

You feel more valued than at an office job.

It's better than some other retail jobs I've had but the pay is low, hours are erratic, and it seems that our primary goal is to make the shareholders wealthy.

They present a good front. But when it comes to resolving issues it all smoke and mirrors. Make it seem as the issue is taken care of but nothing changes

  • I recently quit sprouts on 8484 n scottsdale. I bearly started last year in November loved your customer, empolyees, higher mangement store manger. I recently back in the first week of February i had quit because I had lady from sprouts told me not to come back. Their were tons of things i was going though with my grandma pasting . Was being picked on by a young lady name emily intimated me by her initials white power A . Now the thing that pist me off anyone that would get in trouble she will start gossiping tell the whole store including sabara will start telling everyone Too. Well in mangement i was told whatever happens behind closed doors stays. I thought store manger had to tell you were fired not regularly empolyee. It was weird because emily told not to worry about coming back because brain was planning to fired me anyways. Feeling more embrassing empolyees knowing my bussiness like all the time. Sabra will only cashier when she see brain come around or customer complaning.

Asked to all employees at Sprouts Farmers Market

  • That they run a tight payroll

  • They are not any different from Wal-mart or Whole foods. They don't operate any differently. Nothing is actually prepared onsite. All baked goods are prepared from frozen. All Market corner meals come from a box or can. All soups come from a bag. The produce isn't any different or "better". The meats aren't any different. It's all about tricks, The whole industry is a racket designed to remove your money from your wallet.
