Mr. Stephen A. Tsoris, also known as Steve, Esq., has been Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Spx Flow, Inc. since April 2015. Mr. Tsoris serves as the Managing Director of SPX Flow Technology Norderstedt GmbH. He serves as Vice President and Secretary of Spx Flow Holdings, Inc., Spx Flow Technology Systems, Inc. and SPX FLOW US, LLC. He served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of SPX Corporation since April 3, 2015. Mr. Tsoris was a Partner of Gardner Carton & Douglas LLP and McDermott Will & Emery LLP. He is the Chair of the Corporate & Securities Group. His practice concentrates on corporate, securities and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital, federal and state securities laws and licensing and distribution. He works extensively with both public and private companies. Mr. Tsoris has represented clients in virtually every industry, with a heavy concentration on technology companies and industrial companies that rely on technology and innovation. He co-founded and in the past served as Chair of, McDermott Will & Emery's Tech Ventures Group. His efforts for technology companies were recognized by the Leading Lawyers Network and he was identified by i-Street Chicago as one of the region's Top 100 technology leaders. Mr. Tsoris enjoys a national reputation for his skills in mergers and acquisitions and has represented clients in transactions that are local, national and international in scope. He has particular expertise in negotiating transactions involving significant operations in a number of countries and coordinating efforts among many jurisdictions and languages. Because his experience includes hundreds of transactions representing buyers, sellers, investors, management or other interested parties, he can provide practical advice and counsel in an effort to achieve the client's goals in a timely and effective manner. He has been Director of SPX FLOW, Inc since September 26, 2015. Mr. Tsoris is a frequent speaker on M&A topics and has written several articles on the acquisition process. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science and economics from Marquette University and earned his JD degree from Cornell Law School.
