StackCommerce Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

health care is great for me

Review from Business Development Dept

In office has tons of perks and we have work from home Wednesdays and unlimited vacation.

The culture which is tough during this time but still relevant

Unlimited paid vacation is great

Review from Business Development Dept

The entire benefits package is unmatchable, at least according to everywhere that I've been employed in the past. They offer local perks like parking and commuting assistance, tremendous personal wealth building opportunities, and share the company's success with reinvestment's at every level.

Review from Marketing Dept

It's aligned with the market

The bonus structure they've put in place for sales.

Review from Sales Dept

This is hard to answer because a lot of it is the culture and right now we are quarantined. But they make the effort and I think our culture manager and HR are fantastic at motivating and getting to know each of us. They make us feel heard and support us, always

Decent health care options & great in-office perks, plus a lot of remote work flexibility when necessary

Review from Marketing Dept

Salary. It's a meritocracy and you are rewarded as such.

Review from Marketing Dept

Unlimited PTO - don't feel guilty about taking time off after long days of hard work

Review from Marketing Dept

Ability to work from home, take time off as needed, and spontaneous team perks

Competitive pay with tons of room for growth

unlimited vacation and PTO time

Review from Sales Dept

The best part is the commission

Review from Business Development Dept

unlimited vacation, The location. You can't beat that!

Pays employees above market value

Review from Business Development Dept

I get a bonus based on performance each quarter.

Review from Business Development Dept

Daily benefits from a stocked kitchen (never need to pay for a meal if you choose to), lots of company culture events so it feels like a work-family. Pay was fair

Review from Marketing Dept

unlimited vacation days and flexible schedules

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation is below market and if brought up, leadership finds a workaround. The output of work from every employee is not compensated properly and we're still expected to go above and beyond for the company. Stack is constantly referred to as a stepping stone to bigger and better things.

Review from Sales Dept

A lot of people wear many hats and spread thin, myself included. I think the company can do a better at compensating employees who end up taking on more since they are the ones putting out volume.

Review from Business Development Dept

I believe the role I am in is much larger than what my original compensation was targeted for.

Paid according to tenure and amount of workload I have to get done at a minimum. I also would feel better about my salary if I felt that Stack was actually investing in my future. No 401K matching nor other benefits that make it worthwhile.

Review from Business Development Dept

Being paid in line with my contribution to the company, tenure at the company, and market price.

Review from Business Development Dept

I don't feel undervalued. Currently feel like my ideas and voice has a place within my team. As for compensation, it never hurts, but I think it is fair for now...

Review from Operations Dept

I don't. I answered that I am happy with my pay.

Leadership actually valuing my experience, my knowledge and not be dismissive when I disagree or have a different opinion from theirs. I only care about making things better for all.

Review from Sales Dept

I don't feel undervalued at my company.

Review from Operations Dept

I've made more at previous companies but the work environment here is much better

Review from Business Development Dept

Compensation that falls closer in line with market averages

Review from Sales Dept

Ability to work remote more often

If there were more benefits.

Review from Operations Dept

Some positions are paid below market.

Review from Operations Dept

current pay is below market rate

Review from Sales Dept

The role is repetitive and when you ask for more responsibility, you're just asked to do more of your role, even if you are exceeding goal. The compensation package structure leaves little room for motivation for you to exceed your goals.

Review from Business Development Dept

Not in line with industry standards - about 13% below.

Review from Marketing Dept

Paid below market value. Culture is great, but is ultimately not enough in itself.

The compensation structure changes so regularly, and it often feels like it's changing so that we earn less.
