Mr. Thorsten I. Weber has been Chief Merchandising Officer and Executive Vice President of Stage Stores Inc. since September 20, 2016. Before joining Stage Stores in 2013, Mr. Weber worked at Kohl's as Senior Vice President, Planning and Allocation. He served as Senior Vice President of Merchandising Planning and Allocation at J. C. Penney Company, Inc., from June 2012 to October 2012. He lead merchandising planning and allocation efforts. He joined JCPenney's buying division where he assumed positions of increasing responsibility up to and including Division Vice President. He has a wide range of retail experience, having held multiple roles of increasing responsibility for J. C. Penney since 2002. Prior to J. C. Penney, Mr. Weber worked for Kaufmann's department stores, progressing through their merchandise training program, ultimately holding the role of buyer.
