Michael A. Kennedy P.E. — Executive Vice President and Regional Operating Unit Leader - US at Stantec

Mr. Michael A. Kennedy, P.E., also known as Mike serves as Executive Vice President and Regional Operating Unit Leader - US of Stantec Inc. Mr. Kennedy serves as the Executive Vice President and Managing Principal of Urban Land at WilsonMiller Stantec, Inc. (a/k/a WilsonMiller, Inc.) and served as its Manager of Sarasota Office. Mr. Kennedy has corporate responsibilities include serving as Executive Vice President and Managing Principal of the Firm's Urban Land operations. He has served as Principal-in-Charge for the majority of the Lakewood Ranch project in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, which represents a wide spectrum of residential and commercial uses in a well-thought-out balance of social, economic and environmental sustainability. He is an active member of his local community. He was on the Board of Trustees for Manatee County Economic Development Council; Board Member of Manatee Chamber of Commerce and Board Member of Manatee Community Charitable Foundation. For over 20 years, he has sat on the Young Men's Christian Association, or YMCA board acting as chairman for two of those years. HE has coached youth basketball, baseball and golf for over 35 years and was involved in the Perico Preserve tree planting during its annual Stantec in the Community Day. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University in Alabama.
