Robert H. Seager — Executive Vice President of Environmental Services at Stantec

Mr. Robert H. Seager, also known as Bob, serves as Executive Vice President of Environmental Services at Stantec Inc. and served as its Senior Vice President of Canada & United States since March 1, 2012. Mr. Seager served as President of Jacques Whitford's Western operations and Jacques WHitford-AXYS at Jacques Whitford Limited (Jacques Whitford Environment Limited). Mr. Seager joined Jacques Whitford in 2005 from the acquisition of AXYS Environmental Consulting Ltd, where he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is a Professional Biologist and has 30 years of experience in the environmental and public consultation fields in Canada and has managed numerous environmental impact assessments, including public and Aboriginal consultation programs for pipeline and oil sands developments. He has served as an expert witness on numerous occasions at National Energy Board and Alberta Energy and Utilities Board hearings. He has experience starting and operating his own consulting company and previously held management positions with NOVA Gas Transmission. Mr. Seager serves as a Director of five Joint Venture companies in western and northern Canada. Mr. Seager has a bachelor of science in zoology and geography from the University of Alberta.
