Strive has been one of my favorite companies to work for so far. Overall leadership seems to be excellent. My leader is great, but I could use more consistent feedback about my performance and goals so that I can grow effectively. Benefits were subpar at hire, but are getting better quarterly.
What makes you most happy at work?
Accomplishments, making a difference, feeling valued.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Definitely caring for others. It's been great that this emphasized so much at the executive level. Cultures are built from the top down.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is great. I love that we are are focused on helping build one another up and making sure that everyone is successful.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Transparency. They care for Strivers and patients very well. They're providing opportunities to scale the company at an amazing rate, which gives all employees opportunities to grow and build their career faster than elsewhere. They truly care and are invested in making kidney disease better.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would like to see the 401k match increased in the coming year(s). I also feel that the tech salaries are below market averages. I think we are getting better at this with new hires, but if we want to retain older hires, we will need to compete with the market.
