All of my "local" Managers were great people to work for. Decades of experience and knew how operations needed to happen to take care of the customer. Unfortunately many times they were not allowed to do what they needed to, i.e. wages, reinvesting in assets, etc., by Senior Management.

We all understood pay cuts when the market was down but when things came back salaried mid-level employees never saw the money come back with it, and I was heavily involved on the financial side so I speak with knowledge.
We work together well. It is appreciated that I have the guidance that I do in my job.

Listen to the people that actually run the business day to day. The biggest fault Operationally was the inability to be allowed to react to market changes in a timely manner. It took forever for us to be allowed to pivot to serve our customers needs. Everything took forever to be approved.
