Asked to the IT Department at Swiss Re

  • The Pay is one of the issues as compared to peers. Swiss Re tends to be conservative and I have heard complaints internally. There have been performance based bonuses and hikes - but you cannout compare to the pre 2008 financila crisis era. Most have not received any pay raise since then. The pay is average to good.

Asked to the IT Department at Swiss Re

  • Swiss Re has several teams in 30 or more countries that catter different business groups from Reinsurance, Insurance. Investment etc. There is a overall strong IT culture but each team and unit is in a way independent. I have worked with several groups and tems and fortunately had greate experience, however you can end up in a team that you do not like. Change is not a problem.
