  • Individual interviews last 60 minutes or less. but you get to talk with a lot of different people from the company. The process starts with an introductory call, followed by more in-depth interview with the hiring manager. Then you get to talk to members of the senior leadership team and finally the head of HR and the CEO.

  • Depends on the interview. If you're doing a panel interview with the engineering team, it's about 2 hours. If you're meeting with just one person it's anywhere from 30-60 minutes in length.

  • Dress code varies depending on your role but for interviews most people will dress in business casual to business formal. Guys in our office rarely wear ties but people interviewing often do. Women may wear a pantsuit or dress when interviewing, and typically wear separates in the office.

  • Even though the day-to-day dress code is casual, dress professionally for the role. A suit and tie would not be out of place.

For instance, I interviewed on a Thursday and was told the hiring team would meet on a Friday to debrief so it would likely be the following Monday before anyone got back to me. However, I got a call back that same Friday with a verbal offer followed up by a written offer that same day.

  • Not really. Let me explain. Mothers and fathers are both paid 1 week of leave for baby bonding time. However, mothers can also be paid for 6-8 weeks of disability leave after the birth of the child. So it can seem like moms get paid more, but that's only because the disability leave for birth runs into the time of the baby bonding leave.
