Mr. Adam Ostrow has been Chief Digital Officer of TEGNA Inc. since August 10, 2017 and is responsible for creating, evangelizing and implementing digital vision and strategy. Mr. Ostrow builds on strong digital assets and products to inform, engage and grow audiences across multiple platforms. He joined Mashable, Inc. in 2007 and served as its Chief Strategy Officer, Senior Vice President of Content and Executive Editor. Mr. Ostrow was responsible for the editorial management and direction of one of the most widely read blogs in the world, covering the latest technologies, trends and individuals that are driving the current evolution of the Web. He was also responsible for all strategic business development efforts, including content acquisition, distribution and licensing deals with media companies, social networks and OTT platforms. He is a new media entrepreneur, editorial leader, digital media executive, consultant and commentator. Mr. Ostrow served as an Editor in Chief at Mashable, Inc. Mr. Ostrow was awarded Most Outstanding Senior in the school's prestigious Hinman CEO's program. He has been frequently quoted by mainstream media, including mentions in The New York Times, BusinessWeek, USA Today, The Washington Post, CNN and MSNBC. He is a highly sought-after speaker and has spoken at Cannes Lions, SXSW Interactive, International CES and TED Global. He is a member of the University Merrill College of Journalism's Board of Visitors. He also authored more than 2,500 articles and managed social media feeds. Mr. Ostrow holds a B.A. in Journalism from The University of Maryland.
