Mr. David Hunt has been the President and General Manager of WBIR at TEGNA Inc. Mr. Hunt worked across to develop strong execution strategies around unique sports content across all platforms. He oversaw Tegna Media's coordination of the Olympics and Super Bowl as well as several non-sports initiatives that included pilot programming and product testing. Mr. Hunt served as Executive Sports Producer of KUSA-TV. Mr. Hunt and the staff around him produced coverage for two Super Bowl victories for the Denver Broncos and two Stanley Cups for the Colorado Avalanche. He started his broadcast career at KUSA in 1991 as a news editor. He later became executive producer of sports and weather. Mr. Hunt is an award winning Editor and Producer and has worked at 9NEWS for 11 years.
