Mr. Dean Ditmer has been the President of KPNX for Tegna Media and General Manager of KPNX Phoenix for Tegna Media at TEGNA Inc. since December 21, 2016. Mr. Ditmer served as General Manager of WKEF-TV. Mr. Ditmer served as General Manager for Westwood One's Metro Networks in the Minneapolis/St. Paul market. He served as Director of Sales at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis and as Local Sales Manager for KPIX-TV in San Francisco. Mr. Ditmer served Account Executive positions at WHIO-TV in Dayton and WNCN-TV in Raleigh. He began his broadcasting career at WKEF-TV in Dayton where he served as an Account Executive, on-air part-time sports anchor/reporter and as host of public affairs programming. While at WKEF, Mr. Ditmer was nominated for an Emmy for his work in sports. Mr. Ditmer received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Bowling Green State University.
