He served as Chief Marketing Sales Officer of Medianews Group Inc., since May 2008 and served as its Chief Sales Officer and Executive Vice President. Prior to Media News Group, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Capital Securities Real Estate, LLC, a global real estate investments fund. From 2000 to 2006, he served as a Division Vice President/General Manager of Comcast Communications, where he had oversight of corporate interactive and new sales technologies for Comcast from 2004 to 2006. From 1997 to 2000, he served as a Western Region Vice President for Media One, Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Winkler is a cum laude graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara.
