Mr. Robert Sullivan, also known as Bob, has been Senior Vice President of Programming at TEGNA Inc. and Gannett Broadcasting, Inc. since March 23, 2015. Mr. Sullivan served as Vice President of Programming at The E. W. Scripps Company since August 21, 2013. He served as Vice President of Content at The E. W. Scripps Company from April 6, 2010 to August 21, 2013. He is an executive with more than 30 years of television news experience. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sullivan and Associates Consulting, where he served a variety of clients in the areas of brand development, strategic planning and message marketing. He provided research, production and analysis and leadership coaching and training. He served as the President of the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee, where he oversaw all aspects of Super Bowl XLII played on February 3, 2008, in Glendale, Ariz. Before founding his consulting firm, he served as News Director of Scripps-owned KNXV in Phoenix from 2001 to 2006. Additional career highlights include serving as Vice President and General Manager of The Broadcast Image Group, Vice President and General Manager of WUSA in Washington, D.C., and Vice President of Broadcast of KPNX in Phoenix, as well as news leadership roles at WTLV in Jacksonville, Fla., KUSA in Denver, Colo., WISN in Milwaukee, Wis., KSL in Salt Lake City, Utah and WKOW in Madison, Wis. Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of volunteer capacities. He served on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics-Arizona and board of directors for The Pat Tillman Foundation. Mr. Sullivan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications Management and Business Administration from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wis.
