Mr. Todd A. Mayman has been Chief Legal & Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President of TEGNA Inc. (formerly, Gannett Co., Inc.) since June 29, 2015. Mr. Mayman advises TEGNA's senior management team and Board of Directors and is responsible for legal matters. He served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of TEGNA Inc. from April 2009 to June 29, 2015 and served as its Secretary from April 23, 2003 to June 29, 2015. He served as the Chief Governance Officer of TEGNA Inc. from 2003 to 2009. He served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel of TEGNA Inc. from April 23, 2003 to April 2009. Previously, he served as Senior Legal Counsel of TEGNA Inc. He began his career with TEGNA Inc. in 1993 as an Assistant General Counsel. Prior to joining Gannett in 1993, he was an Associate of Arent Fox Kintner Plotkin & Kahn. He also serves as a Director of the TEGNA Foundation. He served as a Director of Newsquest Capital Plc until June 29, 2015. He was a Law Clerk at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Mr. Mayman received a B.A. with Honors from Swarthmore College and a J.D. magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law.
