Mr. William A. Behan, also known as Bill has been Senior Vice President of Labor Relations at TEGNA Inc. since March 1, 2010. Mr. Behan joined Gannett in 1990 as Labor Relations Attorney and served as its Assistant Director of Labor Relations, Director of Labor Relations and Vice President of Labor Relations. Previously, he worked in private practice in New Jersey. He specialized in labor relations with Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus and later with McMoran & Palmeri. He is admitted to practice law in Virginia, New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third, Eighth and DC Circuits. He is a Member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the American Employment Law Council. Mr. Behan received a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University Law Center.
