Teradata Corporation Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

benefits and bonus plan is very good

Possibility to get more than my annual package if I perform better

Review from Sales Dept

highly competitive with a diverse portfolio of offerings

Review from HR Dept

I feel my base salary is very fair and my bonus structure is in line with competitors. They actually pay bonuses! :)

Review from HR Dept

equity awards reflect contribution and capability

Review from HR Dept

A variable bonus I can actually have an influence on as a consultant

Review from Sales Dept

Teradata has an unlimited vacation policy.

Review from Engineering Dept

the best part would be the bonuses because it allows me to treat my family and two young kids and take them places they’ve wanted to go and get them things they’ve wanted to get.

Review from HR Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Approximately 20-30% below market. I was able to get a similar job somewhere else for a 25% pay raise

Real talent is ignored and laid off regularly. Bad strategy for Teradata. Teradata no longer has the technical depth at any level to drive innovation to change its course.

Review from Engineering Dept

Pay that aligns with market average

Pay me what I’m worth in the mark

A jump up in base pay. But that requires a promotion as well which I haven't received in spite of outstanding performance.

Better career path. End of quarterly layoffs. More healthcare options.

Higher base pay - by about 25%

Teradata is not paying according to local market

Management is appointing a non technical person as manager which merely increasing the path of control nothing else.

Women get paid less then men in same roles.

Review from IT Dept

More salary and better benefits.

Low salary no careers plan

should increase pay by 20%

Review from IT Dept

I see men getting promoted much more frequently than women. I would feel better about my compensation if I were promoted to the same level as male coworkers who are at a higher pay grade than I am yet accomplish less for the company than I do.

Review from Engineering Dept

The company culture of squeezing every penny and setting unrealistic bonus targets has seriously diminished morale. They blew it
