Charles Jeffrey Gray — Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel at Teradyne

Mr. Charles Jeffrey Gray has been Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Teradyne Inc. since April 6, 2009. Mr. Gray is responsible for the worldwide legal affairs of Teradyne. He joined Teradyne from Sonus Networks, Inc., where he served as Vice President and General Counsel from 2002 to 2008. Prior to Sonus, he served as General Counsel of Appian Communications, a private, optical access networking company and as General Counsel of ArrowPoint Communications, a web switching company, through its initial public offering and its acquisition by Cisco Systems. Mr. Gray served as an Associate General Counsel at Wang Global from 1996 through its acquisition by Getronics, a Dutch computer services company, in 1999. He began his career as a trial attorney at Hale and Dorr from 1988 to 1996, where he specialized in technology and antitrust litigation. Prior to entering private practice, he clerked for The Honorable J. Lawrence Irving in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Mr. Gray is a graduate of Georgetown University and Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley.
