What do you like best about the leadership team?
They truly care and mean well. No leadership team is ever going to get it right 100% of the time but they work to make sure the employees are satisfied and welcome all feedback and implement changes that are requested by the employees

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership team needs a better understanding of the business, the industry, and the technology, to make a plan to see the company to success. The leadership team (and therefore their departments) is often in a power struggle with one another, not focused on being a team and collaborating.

benefits are the best in the region.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The executive team under pays most of the company and equity grants are a joke

Compensation adjustments at Terran are a joke. A 3% bump each year doesn't keep pace with inflation. Merit increases don't exist - they'll give out RSUs, but the stock is basically worthless at the moment. Some people work 20 hours of overtime a week and are met with "this is the expectation".

What are some of the best things about your team?
Humble people that want to learn and get better
The collaboration and helpfulness of everyone. They are all eager to help each other
The team works hard and I could even call them friends outside work. The individual contributors at the company are amazing and I've learned so much.
Certain teams and individuals are great, but other teams are all new and less effective. Because the leadership and management are tuned out, those teams have no training or development, and often lag behind in productivity. Because turnover is so high, that impacts everything.
My team has a lot of very smart engineers. Its great getting to work with and learn from them

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There are opportunities to connect with each other and everyone is respectful of one another
The positive work culture ends at your team and direct manager. Going any higher the executives make threats and treat the employees like replaceable parts.
There are free snacks. Snacks don't compensate for the rest of the cultural issues.
The changes theyre making and taking employee opinions and suggestions into consideration
Competitive benefits. The culture is amazing! Everyone is approachable and valued; no matter the position one is in.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Hire people that are familiar with the culture in the region
The company needs to listen to its enployees and actually train them

Marc Bell is far too emotional and it rubs off on people. When the company gets bad press, he shoots off several emails trying to do damage control and it rattles peoples' confidence in the company. Also get rid of the misogynists that are driving women away...

What did you like most about the interview process?
They didn't ask stereotypical interview questions. Instead explored the depth of what your past experience was and gave you a chance to really showcase and sell yourself.
The company was small back then and cared about pragmatic solutions

What makes you most happy at work?
Working on meaningful projects to advance the company
Getting to work on cooo projects shaping the future of aerospace
Being among my co-workers. Free food and snacks. The ping pong table!

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Executives and CEO don't understand the company well. The new management brought in are "big aerospace" and don't understand the current position of the company. They need to return to their roots with executive decision making style, but the current CEO will prevent that.
The change needs to start at the top, with a new leadership team that understands business fundamentals, can promote a culture of collaboration instead of sycophantic support for every wrong decision, and refocuses on making business choices with long-term benefit rather than short-term appearances.
The management is too focused on miney and dont understand our current capabilities vs customer requests

Customers have very little confidence in our ability to deliver - they cancel programs left and right. The only reliable customer is Lockheed and much of the long-time talent is being or has been driven away by the uninteresting missions coming down that pipeline.
