Mr. Ritchie served as a Senior Vice President of Texas Instruments Inc. since 2004 and served as its Manager of Technology & Manufacturing Group. He joined Texas Instruments in 1978 as a Product Engineer in Texas Instrument's defense business. Two years later, he moved to Texas Instruments Semiconductor business, where he held various wafer-fab assignments in product and Research &Development engineering. He served as a Wafer Fab Manager since 1990, Manager of Texas Instruments worldwide application-specific products manufacturing operations since 1996 and Senior Vice President in charge of Texas Instruments worldwide manufacturing operations since 2000. Mr. Ritchie graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor's of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering.
