Texas Instruments – Very bright people - but a lot of management are "yes" men. In my 20 years, I've seen 50-100 small companies acquired, and most of those employees let go. An incredible amount of work has been moved overseas. In hindsight, I could have done better elsewhere.

Communication, and willing to share knowledge and skills.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
IT skills are largely underrated, as many have been replaced by contractors. Stock option compensation is almost non-existent.
