The Cigna Group Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I feel valued for the work I do. I'm paid well, and my schedule working from home is pretty flexible. I'm lucky enough to not be mandated to go into an office.

The pay is WILDLY a lot! lol

Annual salaries are above average and the annual bonuses are really good!

I worked at Cigna for eight years and left for seven years. When i was rehired I started at my 8 years of service.

The time off is probably the best benefit

Individual contributors can make very good money

Review from Operations Dept

Pay is fair and benefits are good

Review from IT Dept

Base pay is competative, yearly bonus and stock (LTI) are great!

Total package is competitive in the industry

Benefits are affordable and great.

Review from Operations Dept

The pto and health benefits

Competitive salary, decent benefits. Career mobility could use work.

The benefits are great at cigna

Our salaries are reviewed and try to keep us competetive with benefits of other companies

Stock awards as a part of comp at many levels if the company

The best part is PTO.

Bonus, fair pay, decebt raises considering economy

Bonuses and long term incentives

Best part is Cash bonuses

Great insurance benefits that not only cover preventative care, they give you cash back incentives.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The workload and demand is so high that salaried employees are stressed over taking time out of work to address a childcare or health issue because they won't get their work done. It makes you feel like you have no value. It's hard to compensate that.

Comoensation should be based on employees personal performance not the team

As a result of the Return to Office, I engaged a recruiter. He indicated I am 20% below market value.

Review from Finance Dept

Meet market values for technology workers.

Train managers to understand employees

Peer ranking based on metrics, little development opportunities unless you are favored and not a lot of flexible work arrangements.

This whole company does not pay adequately as a sales Job should pay compared to other sales jobs in the health insurance industry

Review from Operations Dept

Health insurance is not great for a health insurance company.

A more affordable health benefit package

Review from Operations Dept

health care benefits are below average

Review from Operations Dept

good working relations with managers needed

Review from Finance Dept

The pay rate for the job I did does not even come close to the average pay across most companies.

Review from Finance Dept

They pay new employees more that regular employees

Review from Customer Support Dept

Better health coverage considering I work for a health insurance company and see so many other employers who offer better plans

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel the company should take education into account when compensating employees

The benefits are decent, however the bonus structure is set up as such that bonuses aren't necessarily high. Also, this year specifically, they did not take inflation into consideration and our raises did not reflect that. Also for a health care company, insurance is relatively high and deductible.
