Executive Bio

Ms. Therese Gearhart has been President of Latin Center at The Coca-Cola Company since August 1, 2016 and served as its President of South Africa Business Unit from March 2012 to August 1, 2016. Ms. Gearhart served as President of South Central Africa at The Coca-Cola Company. Prior to her current role, She served as Group Marketing and Commercial and Customer Director for the Eurasia and Africa Group, the most diverse operating group of The Coca-Cola Company, encompassing more than 90 countries. She has 25 years of international experience in General Management, Marketing and Sales. She joined The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta in 1998 as Director of Learning Strategy for the Latin America Group. Between 2001 and 2006, she held positions in North America Food Service Division as Region Vice President, Central Region and Vice President of Marketing. In 2006, she was appointed General Manager, Central America, where she led operations for Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. Under her leadership, Central America achieved strong business results and improved bottling partner alignment. She serves as Co-Chair for the Company's Global Women's Leadership Council representing EAG, as well as Co-Chair of EAG Women's Council. Prior to joining the Company, she held various positions in General Management and Marketing at Motorola Corporation and Black and Decker Corporation. Ms. Gearhart has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and a Master's degree from the American Graduate School of International Management in Arizona.
