Dogs in the office! Our Central Support Office has dogs, which make it such a good, relaxing environment

They are visionary and look to long term solutions. They realize that people are the key to success and do what they can to make sure they are successful.

There is great interaction with everyone across all levels of the company; no one in leadership is "above" you. Excellent communication and very clear, in the moment feedback about your performance and how you can improve. Great kudos and feedback, also.

Communication is very clear at The Connor Group. Each employee has measurable objectives they are working towards and clear standards. This is an environment for people who love to win, be the best version of themselves, and constantly raise the bar.

I feel I'm well-compensated for my experience. Great opportunities to earn a raise or promotion based on outstanding performance. Every employee has the opportunity to become a partner, which means additional compensation in the long-term for employees who are willing to rise to the occasion.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is a very clear culture at The Connor Group, centered around our Core Values: Do the Right Thing, People Count, Live the Circle of Success, Think Long-Term not Short-Term, and Relentless Pursuit of Excellence. These values are lived and reinforced every day by people at all levels.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked that the interview was a primary focus on my personality, how I work, and getting to know me as an individual. Many questions were centered around and trying to get to my philosophy, how I work through problems, and even talking through how I've overcome adversity.
What makes you most happy at work?
We are dog-friendly! Nothing makes me happier than being around dogs and having them at work is a huge mood booster. I love the face paced environment that pushes you to be the best version of yourself. No one is complacent or happy with the status quo--we're always striving.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a dynamic, intelligent team of people who are hardworking go-getters who all have the same goal in mind. Everyone is pulling in the same direction and want one another to succeed; there is no "I" only "we" and that team atmosphere makes you want to push even more and work even harder.
