John Deaton — Senior Vice President of Brand and Product Development at The Home Depot

Mr. John Deaton serves as Senior Vice President of Brand and Product Development at The Home Depot, Inc. Mr. Deaton is responsible for global sourcing, proprietary brands, environmental innovation and Your 'other' Warehouse, a plumbing distributor owned by The Home Depot. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Supply Chain Development of The Home Depot and was responsible for significant initiatives, including the design, development and implementation of the rapid deployment centers. He joined The Home Depot in April 2007. He served eight years at Office Depot in various officer-level positions in its supply chain, business development, marketing and retail operations. Prior to Office Depot, he served in management consulting at Ernst & Young. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University with a double major in Operations Management and Decision Sciences.
