Mr. Richard V. McPhail serves as Senior Vice President of Finance at The Home Depot, Inc., and served as its Senior Vice President of Global Financial Planning/Analysis and Strategic Business Development. Mr. McPhail was a Corporate Advisor at Fort?? Ventures LP. He was responsible for global financial planning and analysis, strategic planning, and business development activities, including mergers and acquisitions and organic development. Prior to joining The Home Depot in 2005, Mr. McPhail was with Marconi Corporation, where he served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Finance, leading the company's business development efforts in Europe and North America. Prior to Marconi, he was an Investment Banker with Wachovia Securities. He also serves as a Board member of the Fernbank Museum of Natural History and The Atlanta Opera. Mr. McPhail holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Business Management from North Carolina State University.
