Ms. Teresa Wynn Roseborough has been an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at The Home Depot, Inc. since November 7, 2011. Ms. Roseborough serves as an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. Previously, she held several legal positions at MetLife, including Senior Chief Counsel and Deputy General Counsel. Prior to joining MetLife, she was a partner at Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan LLP where she focused on complex litigation matters at both the trial and appellate level, including before the U.S. Supreme Court. She also served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the United States Department of Justice, where she provided legal counsel to the White House and all executive branch agencies. In her career, she served as a law clerk for United States Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens. She has been an Independent Director at The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. since April 01, 2015. She has been a Director of US Home Systems Inc., since October 26, 2012. Ms. Roseborough is a seasoned executive who has significant business, regulatory, compliance, risk management and corporate governance expertise. Ms. Roseborough's civic involvements include serving as a public member of the Administrative Conference of the U.S., a member of the boards of directors of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, the American Arbitration Association and the Home Depot Foundation. She is also a member of the Board of Overseers of the RAND Corporation Institute for Civil Justice and a Member of the Board of Visitors of Emory University, as well as a Member of the boards of trustees of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and the Supreme Court Historical Society. Ms. Roseborough received a bachelor of arts from the University of Virginia, a Master of education from Boston University and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
