The Knot Worldwide Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

It's early still to say something but the goals are clear, the tech stack as well as there is plenty of doc for process and in terms of organization and onboarding it's easy and clear to understand. Will see how it unfolds in the future but happy so far with the team and manager :)

Review from Technology and Product Dept

They seem very approachable and care about their employees.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Autonomy to make my own decisions.

Review from Admin Dept

Our regular/recurring "all hands" meetings are consistently scheduled and very transparent. We are kept informed of larger initiatives and the state of the company. Employees are treated like "real people" throughout all levels of leadership.

Review from Technology and Product Dept

Very personable, take a lot of time to communicate with the wider team and talk a lot about the value of the people at the company

Review from Sales Dept

Our leadership team lead with empathy and are endlessly encouraging. They are flexible, empowering, and always strive to do the right thing.

Review from Marketing Dept

They are friendly and knowledgeable

Review from Marketing Dept

Improvements on communication over the past couple of months

Review from Sales Dept

I have always felt like our CEO specifically had the best interests of employees at heart.

Review from Marketing Dept

I love how invested my leads/managers are. I feel like they genuinely care about me as an individual and want to see me succeed.

Review from Customer Success Dept

They are transparent and open to questions

Review from Technology and Product Dept

The Utmost transparency and support as well as their interest in life/work balance

Review from Sales Dept

They are humble, approachable and trustworthy

Review from Admin Dept

clear direction, appreciates customers and employees

Review from Technology and Product Dept

I appreciate that the Executives always ask how things are and how I am doing when they see me. Their authenticity and appreciation does not go unnoticed!

Review from Admin Dept

I appreciate our leadership team's intentions. However, as an account manager, I've noticed an increase in workload without a pay adjustment. Handling multiple tasks daily, including billing and support, detracts from expanding accounts and earning commission. Fair compensation is crucial.

Review from Sales Dept

There seems to be a clear vision for the company's growth.

Review from Marketing Dept

I feel they empower the teams to make decision to accomplish the goals we have set as a company

Review from Technology and Product Dept

They are respectful, knowledgeable, encouraging and available.

Review from Sales Dept

They try to welcome and encourage feedback

Review from Marketing Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Strategic thought leadership. Prioritization. Holding all teams equally accountable. Building a product that works and drives value. Having words match actions.

Review from Sales Dept

Focus and alignment, better prioritization (doing fewer things better) and alignment among the departments. Better communication (where better = timely & transparent) when high visibility leaders depart the business. I am also not sure recent dismissals have been done in good faith.

Review from Admin Dept

The communication could be better as well as feedback.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Be more transparent about compensation. This year it was changed from annual to based on performance which is fine, but we were never notified of this change.

Review from Customer Success Dept

We as a company really need to make more mature decisions based on on the experience of various SMEs, instead of coming up with ideas in silos and unleashing them on implementation teams half formed and not thought out.

Review from Technology and Product Dept

Prioritizing quality work instead of metrics.

Review from Technology and Product Dept

Leadership and defining a strategy for how they are going to mature this company and grow it. This leadership team is clearly of a startup mentality and lack the maturity or experience to take a company at this phase and size to the next level. Big change and an influx of experience is needed

Review from Technology and Product Dept

Training Managers, working on competitive pay, and promoting from within the organization.

Review from Admin Dept

Sharing the overall vision and letting teams know how they contribute and add value versus continuing to add on more to already overwhelming job duties and tasks.

Review from Sales Dept

Increasing pay throughout the company but definitely for those offices that are not their own. Cost of living is up, our profits are up, our pay should be going up as well. They also just suddenly let everyone know that people are no longer apart of the company without giving a reason. Hard to trust

Review from Sales Dept

They ask us to take responsibility, to empower ourselves, they tell us that they are there as lifeguards, but when it comes down to it, they are not. More and more managers keep coming in and making decisions that we used to make, and we have become mere executors.

Review from Admin Dept

Finding ways to avoid burnout in middle management.

Review from Admin Dept

They need to act on feedback and move quickly on personnel issues when there are problems that drive down morale or are increasing departures due to bad managers. There's a lack of cooperation across different teams and an increasing adversarial nature to interactions that seems to be more frequent.

Review from Technology and Product Dept

Having a vision for the future pushing change to implement the base level systems and processes needed for a company to grow

Review from Technology and Product Dept

Setting reasonable work loads, treating the employees as people (not KPIs), and understanding that productivity cannot look the same every day (and that not everything can be a priority).

Review from Marketing Dept

Incentivising employees. Talk of "performance-based compensation" covers a poor rise in compensation.

Review from Technology and Product Dept

Accountability and transparency are needed for this team.

Review from Technology and Product Dept

Being honest and action on fairness.

Review from Technology and Product Dept

equitable pay + total rewards across the board. TKWW employees are paid far below market rate with subpar benefits. Some teams are able to pull off insane bonuses and pay increases for their employees while others struggle to even get proper headcount.

Review from Marketing Dept

Set realistic expectations and stop acting like we are fully staffed. Pay people market wages
