Thermo Fisher Scientific Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Was easy to get through when you have the knowlege

Very conversational, not too technically challenging

it was tougher than i thought it should have been

The initial manager was amazing.

Recruiter did a good job of candidates triage.

The interview prices can be long and difficult but it's because of the focus on finding the right fit

It was a very quick turn around between my application and interview, and I heard back following the interview very quickly. During my interview I feel like my career interests and goals were taken into deep consideration and I feel respected by those who interviewed me.

Many different interviewers and quick talks.

Quick response from the company which is satisfying

Comfortable and easy to explain job experiences.

The timeliness of the interview process

nothing really great, standard questions about experience & background

More than one person performs the interview, usually those most impacted by the role

I was very comfortable and relaxed

The follow-up was good and prompt in response.

Low key and low pressure. Fairly easy interviews.

good interview process but still can be improved.

Meeting the interviewers, they were very friendly.

It provided the opportunity to demonstrate my skills and knowledge

Review from Operations Dept

I like to demonstrate that i have the technical capabilities to resolve any projects issues.

Review from Customer Support Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

More efficient interview process and less steps

The pace is very slow. Also, many current employees, myself included, were funneled away from the positions we actually applied for.

Role transparency, the role was not clearly defined

Be transparent and fair with offers

Not really related to the specific job. The HR people are clueless.

Not take people on it they just want our tax money

Use the interview process to help determine if a person will be a good fit for the job they are being interviewed for. Do not hire an engineer for an entry-level data input position. Do not hire a manager with poor management skills.

Review from Engineering Dept

They can improve by lengthening the time between calls and interviews.
