Most of leaders are very un experienced with respect to the responsibilities they have. The are obssed with personal targets everybody is building their own littl empire, no room for listening to employee feedback. They treat people as machines

For ICs salaries are intetionally below market and you are sold on this pay for performance dream and that has a plethora of unspoken rules limiting your growth (ex they grade on a curve for performance ratings)
Screaming at individual employees is not how one treats other people

Tiktok workers are underpaid and lower quality
Maturity, responsiveness empathy collaboration competition
Weird gen-z socialist/cancel culture prevails
The 360 review process where co-workers rate each other has all the fairness of a Reddit forum filled with anonymous trolls

The benefits, the independence and how exciting the product is
International, global teams - butnitnis also a drawback because decision-making is nearly impossible

A lot of Leader's I listen to they're always positive and I want to be more positive about things but I've went through a lot of circumstances
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Everything. Leadership prioritizes people who work 12+ hours per day and expect you to work all weekend.
Not sure. Its so well escalated but nobody does anything
Fire all the executives and hire better ones

There was no onsite, it was just a standard interview process with case consulting questions
All the questions were related my skills

Move faster and be more responsive to candidates.
Would encourage more transparency and improved communication.
The interview questions and presentation tasks are completely unrelated to the role. This has lead to many under or mis-qualified candidates being hired and finding the role difficult.
