What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They needed to pivot away from digital ad revenue, but now it's too late.
Communication. Working on projects when there's no leadership or open communication between team members makes progress really hard.
Joe Ripp cut the jugular on Time Inc. We still have not recovered from his re-organization of the Sales Staff. All worked stopped for 3 years. We were brand experts. Now we know very little about a lot.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They got people cheap, and getting a real raise is like pulling teeth.
I'm not sure if my title matches my salary compared to similar roles in the same market.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
People get upset when we are used as Pack Mules. Huge layoffs happen, and the people left are responsible for taking on the work loads multiple people and departments

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company is run by poor leadership, and now it's no more.
The future of TIme Inc is uncertain. All employees know this. Management continues to panic that sales numbers are down - while at the same time telling us that the future is bright. It's hard to feel part of the team, when we get lied to our faces.
