What did you like most about the interview process? It was not thorough at all, and knowing what I know now, it's even more apparent that TNT will hire just about anybody they interview that seems like they wanna work here.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company? For the most part you are left alone to do your job. That's the only good thing. Everything else is terrible. Favoritism, occasional nepotism, and personal feelings are weaved through everything here.
What are some of the best things about your team? They're all friendly, helpful, and genuine. They work hard to get their jobs done even though they all know there is absolutely no meaningful future with the company.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?Everything. TNT can't keep decent employees to save its live unless they're the ones who have been fooled into thinking there's some value to selling yourself out. I don't believe TNT can be saved while Tom runs it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation? They pay well below the market value for most positions at the company, and do not offer regular raises or coherent bonus programs. Depending on the team you're on, you will be either ignored completely or expected to make everything work perfectly no matter what internal roadblocks you face.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?You NEED to get your company culture right. The management is sneaky, not transparent, and sometimes petty. Tom is a PROBLEM that there seems to be no solution for. Everything at TNT Dental needs to be reevaluated, but ESPECIALLY the HR operations. Perhaps having an actual HR department would help.
