Tommy Bahama Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I think evrrything about the comprndation package

Matching with the 401(k) is a great benefit to looking forward to in retirement.

All, pluse insentiv pay graded by your performance

Employess discount and 401k match

Health insurance with 30hours per week

Review from Sales Dept

Monthly team wide sales bonus structure

discounts and coverage for medical

I am part time so I don't receive compensation. However, those who are full time get a fair deal

All of it is good

Uh! Free clothes! Duh!! What else?!

Fair compensation with you take into account the work-life balance + Benefits package, decent incentive program and annual compensation and employee reviews. The awesome discounts definitely don't hurt either.

Great compensation and benefits package!

Great bonus structure + annual compensation reviews and incentive plans!

very competitive in a tight market

Fair bonus program for the employees

Availability. Immediate access to 401k.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Better Time off, actual holiday pay

Have us feel safe in our workplace. Honestly, most of us are looking for second jobs, or to leave. Other resturants are busy for season, and we are lacking.

Commission and raises for outstanding preformance

No stock plan offered in Canada

Have a management team that makes you feel valued. It is not ok to be thrown aside when you are doing your best.

After nearly 6 months with the company, my manager still doesn't remember my name every day, and I have not received my name tag. I have no freedom, and am treated like cattle instead of like a person. The air reeks of chauvinism, and the leadership team cares little, if at all, about their staff.

Management always tells you what else you need to be doing and that what you are doing isnt enough. You never get any praise or Hey good job today. Its always what else can you do for me?

My best compensation will be to be more respectful to your future employees!!!

Mirr pat resoect and listen

I don't feel undervalued, I felt abused

Review from Sales Dept

Honest assesment of an employee's worth

Allowing the team enough support from management to have a chance at making money

Pay is half of what similar companies pay. Leadership thinks they are better than you because they were born rich. People are strung along with false promises of raises for years.

They do not care about any ideas you suggest unless they come up with it first, or they will take your idea and pretend they came up with it

Review from Sales Dept

All managers sit around doing nothing and reap the benefits from the work of sales visuals and stock employees.

Review from Sales Dept

I was asked to do a lot of non tip related work while only making 5 dollars an hour

Review from Sales Dept

Unfortunately, unless you're full time you cannot get benefits, and the number of full-time positions are severely limited.
