Michael Josephs — Executive Vice President of Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at Townsquare Media

Mr. Michael Josephs serves as an Executive Vice President of Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at Townsquare Media, Inc. and served as its Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development. Mr. Josephs served as Director in the Media & Telecom Group at Credit Suisse. He was responsible for relationship management, business development and transaction execution across a wide variety of sectors including music, education, cable, newspapers, cable networks, entertainment, publishing, new media and fixed satellite services. His specialty lies in traditional and digital media with considerable transactional experience. He completed corporate finance and M&A transactions for clients including Intelsat, Univision, WideOpenWest, McClatchy, Cambium Learning, Cablevision, Liberty Media, Atlantic Broadband, Delta Education, ABRY Partners, Apollo, Madison Dearborn Partners, Apax, Avista Capital and The Wicks Group. He spent seven years in Merrill Lynch's Global Media Group where he executed transactions on behalf of clients including Liberty Media, Viacom, Cox Communications, Time Warner, Canal Plus, Reader's Digest, Thomson and Warner Music Group. He served as Managing Director of MESA Securities. While at MESA, he sourced and led advisory and financing opportunities for early and growth stage clients. Prior to MESA, he spent ten years at Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch executing M&A and financing transactions for large capitalization media and entertainment companies. He serves as a Director of MESA. He was named to the Multichannel News 2013 Money All Star list. Mr. Josephs has done his BBA from University of Michigan.
