Scott Schatz — Executive Vice President of Finance, Operations & Technology at Townsquare Media

Mr. Scott Schatz co-founded Townsquare in May 2010. Mr. Schatz serves as an Executive Vice President of Finance, Operations and Technology at Townsquare Media, Inc. and is involved in its finance, accounting and information technology functions. He served as a Vice President of Finance and Information Technology at Townsquare Media, Inc. since July 2010. He came to Townsquare from FiveWire Ventures, where he served as a Principal. Prior to joining FiveWire, Mr. Schatz worked as an associate in Bear Stearns' Technology, Media & Telecom Investment Banking Group where he was responsible for the execution of merger and acquisition and capital raising transactions for clients such as Freescale, NTELOS, Cablevision, Digitas and Valassis Communications. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, he worked as an associate at Brown Brothers Harriman in its Mergers and Acquisitions Group where Mr. Schatz was primarily responsible for advising owners of closely held firms in various industries, including health care services, medical technology, telecom services, marketing and information services and other outsourced business services. Mr. Schatz began his career as an analyst at J.P. Morgan in its Technology, Media & Telecom Investment Banking Group, where he advised clients such as Verizon, Verizon Wireless, Comcast and Mediacom. Mr. Schatz received a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2000.
