In an effort to create a more diverse workforce, Tray.io has company-wide goals around hiring people from historically underrepresented groups. We are proud to say that in 2021, 60% of our new hires identified as non-male or a person of color, and this year our goal is to raise that number to 65%.
To promote inclusivity and belonging at Tray, we've formed Tray Resource Groups (TRGs) for Trayers who identify as Black, Asian American, Women, Latinx, and LGBTQIA+, and encourage each other to foster new communities as desired. Each TRG has a dedicated budget to use towards hosting events, welcoming guest speakers, ordering apparel, leading company-wide educational sessions, or whatever else they'd like to do.
