What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership Reviews

They give a good sense of autonomy to work on goals that are getting clearer and clearer as we mature as a company. Success is celebrated and effort is recognised

Review from Engineering Dept

The Transparency they show to us, recently more than ever

Approachable and open to dissenting opinions - while also pushing in a clear direction.

Review from Product Dept

There Transparency, Honestly and Openness

Review from HR Dept

Transparency, passion, fairness and fun

Review from HR Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

- Lack of transperancy - They talk the talk but don't walk the walk - Leadership seem disconnected from the people and most I'd their comments seem irrelevant to our day to day experience - Maternity benefits are extremely poor for the UK standard - Women are hardly represented by leadership

Review from Sales Dept

- Setting actual company goals that can be measured properly - Caring about diversity and inclusion e.g. reaching out to underrepresented groups at Tray - Being more visible within the organisation - Hiring experienced leaders - Seeing gaps in the company and filling them

Review from Product Dept

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

We have a relatively fair salary

Review from Engineering Dept

Salary being in line with market standards

Very competitive base salary versus market.

Review from Product Dept

The salary is competitive to the market

Review from HR Dept

great benefits with a cafeteria of plans to choose from, unlimited PTO and $50 a month toward health and wellness

Review from HR Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

- Pay is under the market rate - Career path is unclear - Outside of flexibility, benefits are poor - the private health care is very limited

Review from Sales Dept

If Tray wants top talent shoild pay top talent compensation not just average

Review from Product Dept

I am paid ~20% under the market rate for my role, and was paid ~30% less than my male colleague in the same role for over 2 years until I was promoted above him (and still only get about 1% more than him)

Review from Product Dept

I took a significant reduction in pay as I love the product and culture at Tray, but in good faith that as Tray becomes more successful, this will be passed on to employees in the form of more competitive salaries. Currently Tray are paying way below market in my experience.

Review from Customer Success Dept

My salary/the benefits package could be improved, but it's not enough to make me want to leave, and it's more important to me that the people around me/leaders care about the people they work with, which they do very much.

Review from HR Dept

What are some of the best things about your team?

Genuinely helpful people that act humanely. Really easy to work with and to discuss all sorts of matters.

Review from Engineering Dept

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

I feel I can be myself here. Unlike other places I worked in the past, diversity of thought is respected (not just your appearance).

Review from Engineering Dept

Everyone is so friendly and you can literally ask anyone anything

Mutually supportive culture, where people celebrate each other's successes and pitch in to help wherever they can.

Review from Product Dept

Passion with precision, everyone has respect for each other. Passionate dialogue.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews Reviews

Very easy going, conversational, non-confrontational. I didn't feel like I was being quizzed. To me, it felt like people just getting to know each other to see if, culturally, they would work well together. And that was a breath of fresh air.

Review from Sales Dept

The recruiter was always staying in constant contact with me. I knew exactly what next steps were and they were willing to hear me out every step of the way.

Review from Customer Success Dept

The clarity of the questions.

the fact that our recruiting team involves folks from many departments to get different takes on a candidate

Review from Sales Dept

The explicit feedback on how I had done each step of the process was something I had not experienced before. It was great knowing where I stood

Review from Sales Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

- Lack of transperancy - Lack of acknowledging the issues - Not Undertaking any initiative to understand people and actively address their concerns - The business is lacking direction and making lots of decisions that don't make much sense to most of us

Review from Sales Dept

Lack of focus and literally zero strategy to get us to our revenue goals

Review from Product Dept

Definitive growth paths and career paths are motivating to me and I feel this is definitely a work in progress at Tray and can be demotivating at times not knowing where I'm headed
