Steven L. McDowell — Chief Audit Executive and Vice President at Trinity Industries

Mr. Steven L. McDowell has been Chief Audit Executive and Vice President at Trinity Industries Inc. since September 2013. Mr. McDowell joined Trinity from Dean Foods, where he served a variety of management positions and served as its Vice President of Internal Audit and Risk Management. Prior to his tenure at Dean Foods, he served as Vice President -- Internal Audit at Centex Corporation since September 3, 2004. Mr. McDowell's professional experience includes a variety of leadership roles in internal audit and public accounting. He served as Managing Director of Business Risk Analysis at Centex Corporation. He joined Centex Corporation in 2001 to direct the corporate audit function as well as company compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Prior to joining Centex, Mr. McDowell spent 10 years with Banc One Corporation's internal audit division. Mr. McDowell received a B.S. in finance from the University of Missouri and is a Certified Public Accountant.
