All decisions are made overseas. They are dumbing down the jobs in Australia and managers ignore their employees and do not support them. It's all about cost cutting but executives can still travel overseas business/first class. Double standards.
Tiny annual pay raises. Little opportunity for promotion. Usually hire from outside the company for higher level management jobs. Expect excessive unpaid hours, high stress, and an unhealthy workload.
