The Firm has invested considerable resources (capital and time) in building out a robust system supporting a variety of remote-work options. These range from full-time WFH to one or two days a week WFH.

There is a background and ethics check on all attorneys and staff. I am not aware of any active drug testing.

The CEO at Troutman Sanders LLP is the Firm's Managing Partner. He took over this role within the last few years, but was groomed as the heir apparent. He is very analytical and thinks of issues and the business in different ways. This has aided in focusing the Firm towards the most profitable areas of law. He has a great relationships among the partnership and is viewed well by the staff.
How's the work life balance at Troutman Sanders LLP?
There is an effort to encourage a work/life balance with shared support on-call rotations and wellness programs encouraged by HR. However, there is a large backlog of work to be done, and someone has to get it done.

Promotions? What Promotions? Seriously though . . . this usually involves grant restructuring and/or attrition. There is very little natural career growth as people tend to stick around in their positions.

The IT department is centralized in the Atlanta office with support positions in the remote offices. In addition, non-exempt employees MAY have the benefit of a Work From Home day at the discretion of their manager/CIO.
