  • Setting up a tracking request in Truckstop.com is easy. Read below for some best practices on how to make the system work better for you. 1. Use your internal load ID number as the Reference ID to keep your loads organized. 2. Use the Notes section to easily communicate information to the driver. They can send messages back (similar to a chat application) which you can view in the load details screen after the track has been submitted. 3. Make sure to fill out the FULL Origin and Destination address. This will make the geo-fences more accurate so you know exactly when the load is picked up and dropped off. 4. Use the Departed Shipper check call to your advantage by selecting the Documentation Required field to have the driver provide important documents like a gate ticket, photos of packing, door seal or other documentation. 5. Use the Empty check call by selecting the Documentation Required field to have the driver provide proof of delivery. 6. Use the Add File option is to send and/or receive documents on the fly.
